Game Day

Finally Ryan and I had time ALL-TO-OURSELF! My parents keep the kids while we enjoyed time at the Texans Game. It was a rainy, terrible hair day. But who cares when you have NO KIDS and bonus was we won!

Ryan is a regular at the Crown Bar. He doesn't sit in our seats. Silly I KNOW. So I enjoyed the opening festivities in "the seats" and met Ryan at the bar..where we stayed the entire game.

Resendez Wedding Shower

This marriage has been years in the works. Octavio has been apart of our family for years...I mean years. He was Rachael's date to our wedding and the kids only know of him an uncle/Tio Octavio. It was a great turn out. They received a lot of gifts. Ava was front and center helping her aunt with the gifts (wearing the necklace she made). She even made the card to go with our gift. Ava has become the little artist!

Football Sunday's

Football is back. Now bring on the Fall weather. We love hanging out with the neighbors grilling out and the kids playing. This year Nathan is right in the mix. Gosh I love this little stud-muffin.

South Padre 2016

Sapphire Condos

This was our 2^nd time back to Sapphire 707 in South Padre and it will not be our last. I bet we return annually. We all have such a great time. Especially this year. I will admit it was our 1^st family vacation that wasn’t work. Honestly it was so enjoyable. Ava is grown up and a little person. Nathan is past baby stage which means no bottles, no schedules, he goes hard until around 2 then passes out. Plus Ava and Nathan actually play together now. They enjoy each other’s company…shocking I know.

This year my uncle Augustine joined us. He is great with the kids and loves to play with them. He is the “silly” uncle. So between my parents, Gabe and Augustine there were plenty of people to help with the kids. This allowed for Ryan and I to enjoy fishing, golf, running on the beach, night movies in the condo theater, day drinking, and just relaxing. Plus the kids get plenty of time with my parents and create wonderful memories.

And we are out....I love Harlington Airport. It is small, great service, and has a playground!

Portland Family Fun

We continued the family festivities in Portland for the extended Labor Day weekend. It was the perfect get away with my mom and the kids (Ryan stayed home because his dad came in town). We visited Grandpa in Corpus. Plus with all the Ramirez clan at the hotel we basically took it over for 2 days. The kids had fun playing with all their cousins.
