Football Sunday's

Football is back. Now bring on the Fall weather. We love hanging out with the neighbors grilling out and the kids playing. This year Nathan is right in the mix. Gosh I love this little stud-muffin.

South Padre 2016

Sapphire Condos

This was our 2^nd time back to Sapphire 707 in South Padre and it will not be our last. I bet we return annually. We all have such a great time. Especially this year. I will admit it was our 1^st family vacation that wasn’t work. Honestly it was so enjoyable. Ava is grown up and a little person. Nathan is past baby stage which means no bottles, no schedules, he goes hard until around 2 then passes out. Plus Ava and Nathan actually play together now. They enjoy each other’s company…shocking I know.

This year my uncle Augustine joined us. He is great with the kids and loves to play with them. He is the “silly” uncle. So between my parents, Gabe and Augustine there were plenty of people to help with the kids. This allowed for Ryan and I to enjoy fishing, golf, running on the beach, night movies in the condo theater, day drinking, and just relaxing. Plus the kids get plenty of time with my parents and create wonderful memories.

And we are out....I love Harlington Airport. It is small, great service, and has a playground!

Portland Family Fun

We continued the family festivities in Portland for the extended Labor Day weekend. It was the perfect get away with my mom and the kids (Ryan stayed home because his dad came in town). We visited Grandpa in Corpus. Plus with all the Ramirez clan at the hotel we basically took it over for 2 days. The kids had fun playing with all their cousins.

Tia Olga's Retirement

My Godmother retired after 26 years of working at Oxy. She is truly a great person. She is so special to my mom and I. She is like the mom/grandmother my mom and I don’t have. So this is a party we wouldn’t of missed. We are looking forward to many more visits from Olga and are already planning “Girls Trips”.

Girls Happy Hour

It's rare we get together. We are all very busy with life and we live all over Houston. So I look forward to our Happy Hours/Girl Time. 

Big Boy

Ryan has morning duty with the kids. I'll have to admit he has a pretty good routine with the kids. He has Nathan brush his teeth while he gets Ava up. 

Gosh, I just LOVE his smile.

Teddy

…oh Teddy. It has been horrible without you. I hope you know how much you were loved. It wasn’t until you were gone I truly realized how much you meant to our little family. I had you for 10 years. You were my 1^st responsibility. Mine and Ryan’s 1^st taste of a taking care of someone. You gladly dropped down the totem pole as Ava and Nathan came along, but you were not loved any less. As a matter of fact you were loved more by Ava and I think that is why loosing  you hurts so much. Your death was Ava’s 1^st heartbreak. The past few days without you around the house have been tough. Where I was strong, Ava was weak and vs. versa. Little things remind us of you…..only time with heal our hearts.
