Oh Christmas Tree
We decorated our Christmas Tree this evening. Ava was VERY into it unlike last year. I say it turned turned out pretty good. We have 2 stands of lights out (time for a new tree), Ava only broke to ornaments, we have tons of ornaments on the lower half and Ava only had 1 melt down because she wanted to open the presents.
Holly is Back
Holly
the elf made her 2013 debut last night. She showed up at our front door
with a gift bag (Elf on the Shelf DVD, Christmas PJ’s and a Christmas shirt) for
Ava from Santa. Then last night she ate a few chocolate candy's while we were
sleeping. She left the wrappers on the counter, but left Ava 1 mini sized Twixs.
Boudreaux’s 5th Birthday
Ava
and I made cupcakes in honor of Boudreaux’s 5th Birthday. We enjoyed
the cupcakes and he enjoyed a large bone.
I cant believe it has been 5 years with him. He was a wedding gift from our best man, Patrick Hoolahan. I know I complain about how many times I have to vaccum up his hair, how much of a mess he makes when he drinks water, how out of control he is at the vet, etc., etc., but I really do love that dog. He is the best with Ava and a great addition to our family.

Ava and I singing Happy Birthday to Boudreaux. 1) He and Teddy thought they were going to get to eat the cupcake or 2) They were mesmerized by the candle flame.
1st S’mores
No
outdoors, bonfire, or stick needed here to make a S’mores. We melted the
marsmellow over the stove flame and had our s’mores in no time. As Ryan said, “We
are city folks at Mimi and Gramps house”. Then he proceeded to say he would never
take me camping…..we’ll see about that. I do want to take Ava & Little
Brother one day.
20 Weeks
How far along: 20 weeks
Weight gained: ugh feels like a lot. There is no hiding this belly. I will find out weight on Wednesday at my 20 week appointment.
Sleep: hit or miss. I either sleep solid throughout the night or get up 2-3 times.
Movement: Yes!! I just love it. Its mostly in the evenings. When I notice it I will sit down and embrace it knowing this “might” be my last baby.
Gender: BOY!!!
Belly Button in or out?: In
What I miss: Wine
Cravings/favorite foods: not much lately
Milestones/Highlights: picked out paint and moved baby furniture to his room. Now I feel we’re are making a little progress. Also, hearing Ava mention her brother/baby in my tummy.
Look forward to: ultra sound this week. I can’t wait to see my little boy.
Best moment this week(s): spending Thanksgiving with my family.

Not much has changed
While at my parents for Thanksgiving I got to wake up to this every morning. She still sleeps the same way she did when she was about 3 weeks.
Thanksgiving 2013
We enjoyed an extended stay with my family Wednesday –
Sunday. I love getting quality time in with my family. Ryan also enjoyed a
night out at the bar with uncle Mike and golf with uncle Adan and his boys.
I have to admit this was one of my mom’s best Thanksgiving meals in a very long, long time minus the pecan pie. Her turkey, dressing and gravy was delicious. The pie on the other hand was a soupy mess. LOL! We all told her to retire the pecan pie and just order from Luby’s from now on. Then my dad made his Turkey potpies Saturday which was another hit. We also took family pictures while we were in town. I can’t wait to see them!
I just wish I would have taken more pictures.
