American Girl Store

Ava's Nina (godmother) treated her to a special trip to the America Girl Store. Ava is very girly now, so this was right up her ally. She loved the store!! She kept pointing at everything saying baby, horsy, doggie and that. Mary & I enjoyed watching Ava run all around the store. Mary even spoiled her rotten.

Another Day Another Pumpkin Patch

We spent the past weekend visting my family. Saturday we went to a local church pumpkin patch. My dad picked out a huge pumpkin to carve & Ava picked out a little baby pumpkin. That evening she was so excited to get started. She kept telling Gramps "hurry up" and once again she had a blast cleaning out the pumpkin. Plus Ava got a Halloween Bucket from her Nina (Godmother) filled with all kinds of goodies. I would say she had a fantastic day!!

Then Sunday it was time for mama & daddy to have fun. We went to Battle Red Day to see the Texans play.

Ava's First Happy Hour

......well no cocktails, more like tea & milk. haha!

Ava & I met my college BFF's for dinner last night. 3 of us have kids and 2 do not. Ava did great the first 1/2 of the meal, but started to get a tad fussy. She is a total schedule baby & we were cutting it close to her bath & bed time. So needless to say we were the 1st to leave.

I see many more Happy Hours in our future.....and many more kids to add to the mix. Fun times! Love my girls!

Pumpkin Carving

Ava and I had the best time yesterday carving our pumpkin. Ava was very involved. She enjoyed helping mommy & squeezing the pumpkin seeds in her hands.

Fun on the Farm

We had a very, very busy weekend. Ryan's dad came to visit, Ava & I went to the Greek Festival with aunt Nancy & uncle Donnie, but by far the highlight of Ava's weekend was a visit to Dewberry Farms.
It was a family date with the Limas Family. Ava and her BFF Emma had a blast! There wasn't much for them to do at this age, but they still enjoyed running around. We definitely plan to make Dewberry Farms an annual family event.
