Last Soccer Game of the Season

Lighting and Thunder changed to just Lighting later in the season wrapped up their soccer season. Ava was the Star! We were the only family with Ava being the older sibling. Most of those parents came up to us at the end of the game and praised Ava telling us she is a natural and to keep her in. We were extremely proud.

Pre K Graduation Ceremony

Our sweet baby girl Graduated from Pre-K! Gramps (Mimi had to work) came in town to spend the day with us. I pulled her out of class mid-day Friday. We met Ryan for lunch and did a little shopping. Later that day Aunt Rach met us to mani's and pedi's. It was a special day for Ava.
Then the sky broke open and it poured for hours before her ceremony. We braved the rain and made it to the venue. It was so formal and cute with the little graduates. They walked in and sat in the front. There were two Pre K classes. Each preformed a song and their teachers spoke then the director, owner and guest speaker Meteorologist Britia Merwin from KRPC. Afterwards they called each student up one by one. I held it together and snapped a great picture of my princess. We were all so proud for her. Especially Nathan!! He kept scream "sissy" and clapping along with everyone.

Big Boy Bed

I really wasn't ready to change Nathan's bed from a crib to toddler bed, but he started to jump in his crib in the mornings. When he held on to the rail he could actually hop/bounce/fly right over. So it was time.
We change it Sunday morning. He napped well with no problems and even went to bed with no fuss. BUT some mornings he will walk right out of his room AND too darn early. I either have to walk him back and help him go back to bed or if I'm already gone Ryan will just put him in our bed while he is getting ready. Another night he walked out crying for his Mickey. So in all it hasn't been too bad.

Summer is upon us

Ava in action

Our little soccer star! Love this picture of her. She is so fast and great with her feet. She has picked up soccer so well. She is a natural.

Breakfast Date

These kids...they either love each other and play so well or we literally have to separate them because they are yelling and fighting with each other.
This was a good morning!

Ava's End of School Pep Rally

Ava had her last Pep Rally for the year. She was so cute! But we think she is more of an athlete than a cheerleader/dancer.

Mother's Day Cruise - last day

We look forward to this breakfast with Dr. Seuss. Its so well decorated and the food is so good. I had fil mignon and eggs. Ava had waffles, but wanted my steak. We were shocked. She hasn't had meat in months. So I did not refuses her. She ended up eating half of it. I was so happy! On a funny note she said she would only eat meat cows and not dairy cows. lol! Where does she come up with this stuff. haha! Has a little mind of her own. Again we spent the day by the pool and dinner with family. We celebrated Jacob's 14th birthday and Sylvia's 40-something birthday.

Mothers Day Cruise - Cozumel

Our favorite day, Cozumel!! Its absolutely beautiful. We spent the day at Mr. Sanchos with the family. Ms. Ava had so much fun this was the only day she actually took a nap.

Mothers Day Cruise - day at sea

We woke up to a beautiful sunny day out at sea. I worked out while Ava and Mimi relaxed. Then we had an amazing breakfast with uncle Augustine. The rest of the day was spent by the pool. Ava was quite the little swimmer. I was so proud of her and how brave she was for swimming on her own.
That evening we met everyone for dinner and family time checking out the ship night life.
*on a sad note we were held in our room this afternoon for about 3 hours while the staff looked for a missing woman. it was later determined she fell overboard the evening before. Just terrible.*

Mothers Day Cruise - departure

We left home Wednesday evening to head to Gramps and Mimi's. Ava cried on the way there because she said she would miss her Daddy while we were on the cruise. I promised her she would have a great time and this was a special time for us girls to spend quality time together doing fun things.
Thursday morning there were no tears and only excitement. We paid extra for pre boarding and it was totally worth it. Our schedule boarding time was 11am. We were in our cabin by noon, eating lunch and having drinks before we even departed.
