Thanksgiving Ending

It was a long Thanksgiving vacation for myself and the kids. We stayed the entire week at Mimi and Gramps (Ryan stayed Wednesday – Sunday) and enjoyed every.single.day. I LOVE making these holiday memories with my parents and family. Ava and Nathan will forever remember the holidays surround by lots of family and lots of love.
My memories: Growing up I have great memories visiting my great grandparents and grandparents in the little town of Ingleside for the holidays. We would go for the week and during summer break I would stay even longer. I remember dreading the drive, but getting so excited when I started to recognize the town. I can still remember my great grandparents standing on their front porch waiting for us to drive up and the BIG hug the would give us. My grandmother would always have my dad’s favorite meal cooking, extending family would come visit us the whole time we were in town and saying good bye would take forever. I swear we would hug and kiss everyone atleast 10 times before we left.

Thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving Day started out BIG for me. I woke up super early to make my Running Comeback at the Bay Area Turkey Day 10k. I did great with a PR of 52:16 / average pace 8:26. I was entry #1177 , placed #100 overall, #34 female overall and #11 female in my age bracket. I plan to compete in 2015 and now have a time to work with.
I was home by 9am and ready to enjoy the day with  my family. The kids and I had been in LP since Monday, so by Thursday they were way off schedule. They were still in their pj’s and eating breakfast. The rest of the day was filled with cooking, eating, drinking and plenty of family fun.

Go TEXANS

Mimi and Gramps have 2 season tickets to the Texans. I usually get the boot from the games and the guys go (usually Gabe & Ryan). This game Gramps bought us 4 tickets so we could all enjoy the game. Poor Mimi stayed home with the kiddos.

Thanksgiving Lunch

I had Thanksgiving Lunch with my sweet little girl.
I enjoy going to every event my kids have. I know time goes by so fast. I want to savor every moment they like to have their mom around before they get to big.

Date Night: Black Keys Concert

Ryan and I spent the evening Downtown KID FREE. We checked into a hotel, had a nice dinner and enjoyed The Black Keys in concert. It was so nice! There was no rushing through dinner, we didn’t feel guilty drinking, we had conversation with no interruptions and slept in the next morning.  I LOVE my babies so freaking much, but sometimes it’s nice to have Ryan all to myself.

Seriously..STOP

Growing....I want you to stay my baby forever.

Gymnastics

Ava started a "trial" class for gymnastics. She will go for 8 weeks. Based on how much she likes it and "if" she is paying attention during class we will keep her in it. So far she LOVES it and looks so darn cute in her leotards.

Health: this past month has been good, just drooling from teething.
Routine: same as last month. Its getting easier to pick up and go.
What's New: so MUCH! He is crawling, sitting up, pulling up and trying to stand.

Halloween 2014

Halloween started out with a basket full of treats for my little Elsa Princess. Afterwards I took the kiddos to school. Then went back up to volunteer for their parties. I passed out candy during their Halloween Parade and helped with Ava’s classroom party (I can’t wait to be homeroom-mom). Ava was so excited to have me there!
We picked the kids up early from school (after Ava’s nap. We didn’t want to deal with Ava the grouch that evening) and headed to LP. Halloween was a family event this year. My aunt & uncle hosted a Halloween Party with haunted house and all. We ALL had such a wonderful time. My little Elsa ran around playing with her cousins, so I didn’t even get a picture of her….or Ryan (terrible of me. Most of the pictures I took off of family FB). Nathan enjoyed plenty of loving and stayed up way too late.
