Day with Gramps

My dad loves Ava. She is the 1st grand baby. He will do anything for that little girl, but it has taken almost 26 months for him to feel comfortable babysitting her. He was always worried about changing a poop diaper and putting her down for a nap. Well this past Saturday was his 1st time!! He did great. Ryan and Mimi had to work and I ran in the ConocoPhillips 10k Rodeo Run.

I swimming

Ava (and I...it's mom and me until she masters this level) started swimming lessons. She was so excited!!! She did really well and mastered a few things already. She kept saying, "I swimming!".

1st Official Haircut

We have trimmed Ava's bangs before, but it was time for a haircut. She got a cut, blow dry, style, plus we bought shampoo and detangler for long pretty hair.

My little Valentine

We just love this little girl to pieces!! She had plenty of gifts waiting for her today.
Her favorite was a marshmallow lollipop from Mimi and Gramps and the Land Before Times DVD's from Tito.

Sesame Street Live

We took Ava to see "Elmo"! She was excited for awhile. Then drank all her juice, ate all her popcorn, lost interest, and fell out of her chair hitting her face on the arm rest. So we made an exist during the intermission.
Fun times!

Look what gramps built me...

She was one excited girl to see this in my parents backyard.
