Springtime Fun

Backyard fun at Mimi and Gramps.

Riding Regal

My little country girl loves to ride horses. It seriously makes me want to move to the country and get my baby her horse. She just lights up when she sees the horses. She doesn't pay us any attention during her lessons. She is focused on her instructors every word.
It brings a smile to my face to see her so happy.

1st Full Week in Infant B

Nathan has had a GREAT 1st week in the Infant B Room. He fits right in with all the other toddlers. I have noticed a huge change in Nathan the last few weeks. He is walking, drinking from a sippy cup taking 1 nap a day and sleeping on a mat at school. It is beyond me how they get him to 1) sleep on a mat 2) sleep at the same time every day 3) with day light and noise in the room. My baby is growing up (tear).

Happy 3rd Birthday Jacob

....and the Birthdays continue. This little man had a rainy birthday, but we all managed to still have a great time.

Nathan is Walking

My little man stood up one day, took a few steps and was walking the next day.
There is no stopping him now.

Happy 5th Birthday Katelyn

It is just unbelievable Katelyn turned 5. She was the 1st "baby" to be born out of my BFFs. Time has flown by. Out of 6 BFFs (only 4 have kids) there are 6 kiddos. I enjoy watching them all grow up and look forward to always being apart of their life.

1 Week Down

Well it has been a week at Ivy Kids Cinco Ranch. At 1st I was worried about how Ava would adjust. I figured she would take it the hardest and be shy, but no way. She wasn’t scared one bit about the new school. She was so excited her 1st day. She has met new little friends and has already learned new things. She is definitely Happy at her new school. Nathan on the other hand….the child I thought would go with the flow and have no issues cried almost every morning Ryan dropped him off. Poor baby! I’m almost positive it is because he is at the age of recognizing faces. As the morning goes on I can tell (via web cam) he is fine. He seems to be having fun once he forgets about Ryan leaving him. However due to his mobility, motor skills and eating habits he started transitioning into the Infant B class room today. This class is for 12 – 18 months. As I have been watching him on the daycare cam this morning he is having such a good time. This class has much more activity for his age. They go on buggy rides, go outside, sing songs, etc. Side Note: He is just as BIG as these toddlers. He blends in well. My BIG Baby Boy.

The biggest Advantage To the kids at Ivy Cinco is less traffic! It is right up the road from us. Ryan even called me one morning and said, “I’m already at work. Its too early”. He hits no traffic in the mornings so his commute to work is max 15 minutes round trip dropping kids off. When the kids were at Ivy Richmond Ryans commute was anywhere from 30 to 45 mins and the school was only 10 miles from our house. My commute is still about the same I just take a different route home.

2nd Generation BFF's

I just love these 2 Mini Me's.
I'm so glad they have each other. I hope their little friendship continues to grow.

Nathan is 11 Months

Weight: 25+ lbs
Clothing: 18 & 24 months
Diaper: 5
Formula/Foods: 4 or 5 6-oz bottles, juice/water combo, toddler foods and table foods.

Health: has been a little under the weather. I'm not sure if its starting a new school or this crazy weather. He has had a runny nose and is a tad more fussy/needy than usual.
Routine: same at 10 months.
What's New: Taking steps and does a crazy "knee walk".  He is literally walking on his knees. Ava never did that. He doesn't like me to rock him to sleep at night. He wants in the crib and is asleep in no time. however on the weekend he will let me rock him to sleep before his nap. I love it! I will enjoy that moment as long as I can.

I CAN NOT believe my little  hunk a chunk will be 1 in a month.
