Mama's New Ride

I LOVE my little red Ford Sports Trac, but it was time to upgrade and with another kid on the way it was the final push. Ryan hated how small it was (uh ya, compared to his F250) and I will agree with him is was old, had high mileage and not big enough for a family of 4. So I upgraded to a New 2013 Ford Exepedition (Yes! We do love Ford Vehicles). It has everything this mama needs!!

Out with the Old. In with the New.

Halloween 2013

Happy Halloweenie as Ava likes or say.
This was the Halloween Treat Basket Ryan & I gave Ava this morning. It was actually not her 1st treat basket. She received 1 from her godparents, 1 from her Tia Aida & Tio Augustine AND another from her Mimi’s & Gramps. She is one spoiled little Bumble Bee!!!

Halloween at School

These Goodie Bags for Ava's class turned out so cute.

Ava's school had a costume parade and Halloween Party.
I LOVE her pumpkin art work and how into Halloween she is this year.

Best Buddies

After all the stuff he endures from Ava…..she carries him around the house, puts him in her shopping cart, dresses him in necklaces and even tries to feed him from a bottle, he still loves her.
I found him all snuggled up to his best buddy this morning.

Halloween Time

We are loving Halloween this year! Unlike like last  year when Ava was scared of every little Halloween decoration, we are totally embracing our inner Halloween. Fun! Fun!!

Cute Age

Being a mother is the BEST and it just keeps getting BETTER. I LOVE Ava at this age. We carry on conversations. She expresses her feelings and is so funny.

She gives people nicknames:
My dad was gramps now he is grampsy gramps
My mom was mimi now she is The Mems
Ryan is daddy do do
I’m mommy dump dump or Jenny gump (I think Ryan had influence on this one. Referring to when I would run.)
Our neighbor Ricky is Ricky Ro Ro
Our neighbor Sue is Suz Suz

She LOVES the dogs:
Her after school chore is to feed the dogs. BUT the problem with this is when she sees their bowl is empty she will keep feeding them.
She love to make them sit and earn a treat
She picks Teddy up all the time. Poor dog.
She jumps on and squeezes Boudreaux.

What's news:
I think she is almost over dinosaurs. She is now into horses. She love to line them up (she calls it a horsey train). Makes them jump and packs all of them in her barn.
Her room is ALWAYS a mess. She likes to make daddy clean it. She will shut the door and tell him he cant come out until it is clean.
Her buddies at school are Kelsie (Kels Kels), Emerson, and Avery. She loves to tell us who got in trouble at school and who was mean to who.
She loves to race. She will ask us to say, "Ready. Set. Go."
When she stays with my parents she will say "I miss my family" and ask when will we be back.

Busy Weekend: 5 Year Anniversary, 14 weeks with Baby #2, and Hoolahan Wedding

My handsome hubby and I spent a wonderful weekend in Downtown Houston celebrating Patrick Hoolahan's Wedding and our 5 YR Anniversary. We sure did miss our Ava-bug, but it was nice to have US time. Ryan bought me a Wedding Anniversary Band and I bought him a Burberry Watch.
Mama stats:
How far along?: 14 weeks 2 days
Weight gained: not sure…I don’t even look at the scale (will update after my Nov. 5th appointment)
Sleep: ugh, I get up so many times to use the restroom
Maternity clothes: not yet, almost there. Using a belly band to stay in regular clothes as long as possible
Movement: not yet
Gender: Ryan and I both think it’s a boy. Ava wants a sister.
Name: We have a boy name. No girl name
Belly button in or out?: In
What I miss: Wine! Wine! Wine!!
Cravings/favorite foods: Sour stuff. I love lemon water and will even eat lemon. I crave lemons and pickles…weird.
Milestones: Out of 1st trimester. I told my supervisor I was prego.
Best moment this week: Our 5 year anniversary. Receiving news that my genetics testing came back normal.
Looking forward to: Gender ultra sounds on 11/7

Fire Station Fun

Our local Fire Station held an open house. Ava was all excited to go, but got really shy when we 1st arrived. She was scared of the large fire trucks. After a few minutes she warmed up and was pumped to "drive" every fire truck there.

Abel's 60th Birthday Party

Uncle Abel (my dad's oldest brother) had a surprise 60 th Birthday Party held at his daughter Dina's house. It's wonderful to share these special moments with all our family. Ava really enjoyed the D.J. and was a dancing machine. I on the other hand realized this is the part of pregnancy that sucks. I could not have any of the fancy little cocktails or eat the yummy raw oysters.

12 weeks

Baby #2 is the size of a Lime
