My home town hosted their 1st Annual Mardi Gras Party on
Main Street. I have to say it was a HIT. My dad, Ryan, Ava and I really enjoyed
ourselves. Nathan and Mimi stayed home. They closed down the street from 4-9
and had everything Mardi Gras from a Jazz Band, throwing beads, a fire act,
face painting, balloon making, character drawings, and King/Queen of Mardi
Gras. PLUS a beer garden (with like 7 breweries), wine tasting, crawfish, food trucks and
vendors of all sorts. I REALLY hope this event continues. It will be a family function every year.
