The kids school had a Mardi Gras Parade. Since we had just returned from New Orleans Ava and Nathan were all set with cute shirts. Nathan (in the green below) made a few pictures on the school website. However, Ms. Ava was a no show.
That evening the festivities keep rolling. We (well Ava and I) wore our hats, mask, necklaces and feasted on Cajun goodness (red beans/rice and boudin balls).
