Thanksgiving Day started out BIG for me. I woke up super
early to make my Running Comeback at the Bay Area Turkey Day 10k. I did great
with a PR of 52:16 / average pace 8:26. I was entry #1177 , placed #100 overall,
#34 female overall and #11 female in my age bracket. I plan to compete in 2015
and now have a time to work with.
I was home by 9am and ready to enjoy the day with my family. The kids and I had been in LP
since Monday, so by Thursday they were way off schedule. They were still in
their pj’s and eating breakfast. The rest of the day was filled with cooking,
eating, drinking and plenty of family fun.
